He has coached novices, Scottish and British Champions champions, Commonwealth games competitors and British and World Masters Track Cycling Medallists and has worked with all disciplines from Mountain Biking to Ironman Triathlon.

RACE REPORTS
Lisa Leonard was in Beijing for the ITU World Age Group Championships. She raced in the Standard distance event finishing in 2:26:41, in 5th place in her age category, the 2nd British finisher in the category.

Scottish Standard Distance Tri Championship 04/09/11
There was a big turnout of Total Endurance athletes for the Scottish Championships at Strathclyde Park. The team was led home by Lewis Murchie in 2:01:22 in 6th place overall and 1st Junior to retain his Scottish junior title for a 2nd year. Kevin Watson was 12th in 2:03:07 for 6th in category with Phil Edgley just 17 seconds and one position further back. In her final event before travelling to Beijing for the age group World Championships Lisa Leonard finished 56th overall and 8th lady in 2:13:51.
Laura Sarkis made the long journey south to compete in the Vitruvian Middle Distance Triathlon. She finished 13th in the female race in field of 165 in a time of 5:07:20. She then tavelled all the way back to Strathclyde park to support the team at the Scottish Standard Distance Championships.

The 1st Ironman Wales was also the 1st qualifier for the 2012 Ironman World Championships and had a very strong field of 1200 competitors. Martin Goodlad finished in 11:00:11 in 149th place overall and 35th in his age category, an excellent result only 6 weeks after Ironman UK.

The 1/2 Ironman Distance Highland Warrior Triathlon was also the Scottish Middle Distance Championship. Kriss Ross finished in 5:33:30 in 42nd position overall and 18th in category in a total field of 112 finishers.

The Iron Monster is a run/bike race round Loch Ness in Northern Scotland. Most people complete the event in teams of 4 with each team member completing a run and bike leg. Lynn Calder and John duncan decided that was a bit too easy and entered the solo event, completing the 28 mile, mostly offroad, run and 50 mile cycle individually. John finished 3rd in the individual event in 8:21:50 and Lynn was 6th and only female finisher in 8:30:05. 45 teams finished the event behind Lynn!
Iron Monster 03/09/11
The local Triathlon season finished at the Huntly Standard Distance event. Lewis Murchie completed a successful season by finishing in second place in 2:07:54. Martin Goodlad stepped down from Ironman racing to follow Lewis home in 3rd in 2:10:54 and Lisa Leonard, back from her World championship adventures in Beijing finished the season with a win in the woman's event and 5th place overall in 2:20:22
