Bike Performance Package
A lab-tested 16-week cycling plan built on your own power zones.
Find out your real thresholds and power zones, then follow a 16-week plan built to raise them. Ideal for sportives, time trials, road racing and gravel events.
FTP from a 20-minute test only tells part of the story
A field test gives you one number. A lactate test shows how your body responds across every intensity and what is limiting you, for example a low aerobic ceiling or burning carbohydrate too fast. Your plan sets every ride at the right power and heart rate, and chooses your key sessions to target that limiter.
What's included
- Bike lactate test (normally £165): a step test measuring lactate, heart rate and power, giving your thresholds and training zones
- Results session: we explain your profile, your limiter and what your plan will target
- 16-week plan: built in TrainingPeaks around your event and the time you have, with key sessions chosen for your limiter, ready for Zwift, Wahoo or Garmin
- Strength sessions for power and injury prevention
- Mid-plan review with a Total Endurance coach
- Week-16 retest at £125
Who it's for

FAQs
Do I need a power meter?
A power meter or smart trainer is recommended. Without one, we'll set your plan with heart rate zones.
Can I use my own bike for the test?
Yes, and we recommend it. Bring your own bike and we’ll set it up for the test, or you can test on our Tacx NEO smart bike.
How many hours a week do I need?
Our plans are built for 8–15 hours of training a week. Tell us how much time you have at your plan start call and we’ll set your plan around it.
I'm not near Aberdeen. Can I do this remotely?
Yes. Choose your plan with a remote bike PPD test on your own bike or smart trainer instead (£229). If you can get to us, the lab test is more accurate, includes time with a coach, and is only £20 more.
