Run Performance Package
A lab-tested 16-week plan for your next 10k, half marathon or marathon.
Find out exactly how fast your easy runs, tempo runs and race pace should be, then follow a 16-week plan built around those numbers. No calculators, no guesswork.
Most runners train too hard on easy days and too easy on hard days
Zones from an online calculator or your watch are often well off. A lactate test measures your thresholds directly and shows what is limiting you. Your plan then sets every session at the right pace and heart rate, and chooses your key sessions to target that limiter.
What's included
- Run lactate test (normally £165): a treadmill step test measuring lactate, heart rate and pace, giving your thresholds and training zones
- Results session: we explain your profile, your limiter and what your plan will target
- 16-week plan: built in TrainingPeaks around your race and the time you have, with key sessions chosen for your limiter
- Strength sessions to keep you injury-free
- Mid-plan review with a Total Endurance coach
- Week-16 retest at £125

FAQs
My race is more than 16 weeks away. Is that OK?
Yes. We'll set your 16 weeks as a base phase, and you can retest at the end before your race-specific block.
How many runs a week do I need?
That depends on the time you have. Our plans are built for 8–15 hours of training a week, and we set your number of runs at your plan start call.
How should I prepare for the test?
Easy training only the day before, eat normally and bring your usual running shoes.
I'm not near Aberdeen. Can I do this remotely?
Yes. Choose your plan with a remote run PPD test instead (£229). If you can get to us, the lab test is more accurate, includes time with a coach, and is only £20 more.
