Give your coaches data, not guesswork
Force-sensing EO paddles, underwater video, swim economy and lactate testing for your whole squad. Choose one service or combine them, and your coaches get a clear report on what to fix first and how hard each swimmer should train. Better sessions, faster swimmers, and proof that your coaching is working.
Mix and match services · Every swimmer tested · Squad report for coaches
We bring all the kit and fit around your normal squad session.
Individual force data and a personal report for each athlete tested.
Your squad’s biggest limiters ranked, so coaches know what to work on first.
Propulsion, video, economy and lactate. Use one or combine them for the full picture.
You can see the stroke. Not the force behind it.
From the poolside, a dropped elbow, a slipping catch or one arm doing all the work can be almost impossible to spot. Most squads train together for years but are never assessed together, so the same drills go to everyone and nobody can prove what’s working.
From the poolside
- Feedback limited to what you can see from the deck
- The same drills for everyone, whatever their limiter
- No objective way to measure technical progress
With squad force data
- Force and propulsion data for every swimmer
- Squad-wide limiters ranked by impact on pace
- Group drill priorities for your next block
- Re-test to prove your coaching is working
Something for every swimmer. A plan for every coach.
Every swimmer receives
Their own data and a clear plan they can take back into training.
- Their own results from every service you choose
- Personal propulsion and technique report
- Individual training zones (economy and lactate options)
- Left/right balance and catch efficiency
- 3–5 priority actions with drills
Your coaches receive
The big picture across the group, so sessions target what matters most.
- Squad weakness summary report
- Side-by-side athlete comparison
- Limiters ranked by impact across the group
- Group drill and training zone recommendations
- A debrief to walk your coaches through the data
What happens on a squad day
Planning call
We agree squad numbers, pool time and what your coaches want to learn.
Data capture
Each swimmer completes the tests you’ve chosen, from an EO paddle swim with video to economy and lactate steps.
Swimmer reports
Every athlete gets a personal report with 3–5 priority actions and, with physiology options, their training zones.
Squad report
Limiters ranked across the group, side-by-side comparisons and drill priorities.
Debrief & re-test
We walk your coaches through the data and plan a re-test to measure progress.
Measure. Fix. Re-test.
This is what targeted, data-led work does for one swimmer. A squad day gives your coaches the same starting point for every athlete in the pool.
Propulsive force doubled
An elbow drop was pushing water down instead of back. Fixing it cut her wasted downward force from 60% to 43% and her hand drag from 7.4% to 0.9%.
Steady gains, test after test
Already a strong swimmer, Harris used each re-test to confirm what was working and set the next priority, moving steadily towards the 70–75% distance target.
Now picture that across your whole squad
Every swimmer with a clear priority, every coach with a ranked list of what to fix, and a re-test to show the club the progress.
Build your squad day
Every service works on its own, or combine them for a complete picture of each swimmer’s technique and fitness. Tell us what your coaches want to know and we’ll put the right mix together.
EO propulsion analysis
Force-sensing paddles show where every stroke gains or loses propulsion, with left/right balance, catch efficiency and a priority fix for each swimmer.
Squad video analysis
Above and below water footage of each swimmer, with clear technique feedback and the key drills to work on.
Swim economy testing
How much energy each swimmer uses at set paces. See who swims efficiently, who is working too hard for their speed, and track it as technique and fitness improve.
Lactate testing
Blood lactate at set paces to find each swimmer’s thresholds, so your coaches can set accurate individual training zones instead of one pace for the whole lane.
Full economy & lactate profile
Economy and lactate together: how efficient each swimmer is, where their thresholds sit and the training zones that follow from them.
Coach CPD workshops
Help your coaches read the data, spot common limiters and turn the findings into better sessions. Ideal alongside any squad day.
Technique and physiology, together
Propulsion data shows how a swimmer moves through the water. Economy and lactate testing show what it costs them. Combine them and your coaches can see both the problem and its impact.
EO + Economy
Technique meets efficiency.
- EO propulsion analysis for every swimmer
- Swim economy at set paces
- See exactly what stroke flaws cost in energy
- Squad report linking technique to efficiency
EO + Economy + Lactate
The full squad profile: technique, efficiency and training zones.
- EO propulsion analysis for every swimmer
- Swim economy and lactate thresholds
- Individual training zones for each swimmer
- Squad report and coach debrief
- Re-test later in the season to prove progress
EO + Lactate
Fix the stroke and train at the right intensity.
- EO propulsion analysis for every swimmer
- Lactate thresholds at set paces
- Technique priorities plus training zones

EO propulsion squad days
Our most popular club service, with simple per-swimmer pricing.
We can travel to your pool with full EO paddle and video kit, or bring a smaller group to our Aberdeen facility. Physiology testing location is agreed when we plan your day.
Built for clubs of every kind
Based in Aberdeen and working with clubs across Scotland. Looking for 1-to-1 analysis for an individual swimmer? See our swim propulsion analysis.
Before you book
Can you come to our pool?
Yes. We bring the EO paddles and video kit to you and work within your normal squad session with minimal disruption. Smaller groups can also come to our Aberdeen facility. We’ll agree the best location for any physiology testing when we plan your day.
Can we combine services?
Yes. Every service works on its own, or you can combine EO propulsion analysis with swim economy, lactate testing or both. Tell us what your coaches want to learn and we’ll recommend the right mix.
What do economy and lactate testing tell coaches?
Economy testing shows how much energy each swimmer uses at a given pace. Lactate testing finds their thresholds so you can set individual training zones. Together with propulsion data, they show both how a swimmer moves and what it costs them.
How much pool time do you need?
It depends on your squad size. We plan the day with you in advance so the testing fits around your session and lane space.
What age and ability do swimmers need to be?
We work with age-group programmes, masters and adult squads, from developing swimmers to performance groups. We’ll agree the details with your club before the day.
What do our coaches actually get?
A squad summary report ranking the biggest limiters across the group, side-by-side athlete comparisons and group drill recommendations, plus a debrief to walk your coaches through the data.
Can we re-test later in the season?
Yes. Re-test days let you measure every swimmer again and see exactly what your coaching has changed.
How do we book?
